A small container in the woods. This is a small token of our appreciation to our friends Eye and Pirate. They are local legends, in part responsible for helping to make Richmond a geocaching destination, share all facets of their knowledge willingly, host some awesome caching events, and hold a treasure trove of booty to admire! We even share the same Pirate-ing ways.....ARGH! After all they are "A Head Above the Rest"!
This is one of our families top favorite parks. Our kids spent HOURS at the 16 slide park and as adults we loved to play here too. You can also get a drink from the natural springs here, walk an abandoned golf course, and the duck pond is full of hungry bread-loving fowl. At the building next to the tennis courts live a family of 20 or more raccoons to entertain you and watch out for the woodland spirits that roam the hillsides. Be sure to bring a picnic and enjoy all of the wonders at this park. ***Congrats to rdgdld for FTF***
After 4 years, this tribute cache got muggled. It was a nice medium with a large plastic skull fixed to the lid top. It has now been appropriately replaced in a slightly different spot well within the current coordinate GZ. It also now has worthy treasure for the next finder. Hail EOP!!!!!!
