It’s that time of year again! School has started, and there’s no doubt that has involved some back-to-school shopping. In my experience, school supplies get used up fast and never seem to last for the entire year. This cache was created to help out with that problem, offering a chance to get some school supplies year-round. Please try and trade some school supplies in return to keep the theme going!
Hillcrest Park, as the name suggests, is a park on a hill. The park includes a children’s playground, baseball diamond, four tennis courts and wading pool in the summer. There are two sets of stone steps beginning at Davenport Road that lead to the top of this hill. These steps were recently constructed to replace the single wooden staircase that weaved its way amoung the trees to the top of the escarpment. The climb will surely be rewarded with a spectacular view of the city skyline and Lake Ontario, and maybe a geocache find along the way! Left a loonie as the FTF prize! :)
