Decent hike into the foothills surrounding Cold Springs Valley. Pack some water and a hat if you go any time in the afternoon. We hiked to place this, but a 4-wheeler would make this lots easier. :D
If you approach from the north, expect a moderately difficult hike, but an easy four-wheeler ride. Lots of great views of the valley and Sierras on the way and especially at the peak. Look for a jar covered with camo tape. Current contents are: One two-minute hourglass, three magnetic rocks, pencil, and smallish stamp.
