This is another cache for the Bass Coast Rail Trail series. It is the only coastal rail trail in Victoria and is very well used by walkers and bike riders. The rail trail extends 16 kms from Anderson to Wonthaggi. This trail is well know for the trestle bridge that is at Kilcunda. A big thanks to Hearse068 for helping with this hide. In the warmer months please keep and eye out for snakes along the trail.
There are several access points for parking along the rail trail.The Anderson round-about, Mitchell mine area kilcunda, Kilcunda near trestle bridge, Powlett River road, Station Street Dalyston and Daly street Dalyston, Lower Powlett road Wonthaggi and South Dudley road in Wonthaggi.
We had decided to call this something else at the time of hiding but due to the lake of places left I couldnt find anywhere decent enough to hide a cache in honour of Hearse068. So this is it " A big thanks for helping me put this Power Trail together we had great fun creating it".
This cache contains logbook pen and swaps.
