Geocache Description:

You'll be hard pressed to find some alone time at Wattle Grove Lake. This leisure oasis is almost always full of people, not to mention the bustling of the local wildlife. Thankfully there is one spot in particular where you can take a little quiet sit and watch the life of the lake go by around you.

You're looking for a small sistema container. Please replace it as found and be careful not to damage the local flora.

Welcome to Wattle Grove Lake

Wattle Grove Lake is one of the landmark locations of Wattle Grove. You'll find plenty of water birds, eels, some fish and, rumour has it, even some turtles!

The area is a great little leisure oasis, the surrounding parkland has a number of walking tracks and some recently upgraded play equipment. It's a great place for a get together, a picnic stop, or just a break from the nearby M5 Motorway.

Be cautious of the water birds that sometimes take shelter on this side of the lake. Please don't feed the wildlife, and, when convenient, please grab a piece of trash on the way out.

To kick this cache off we have a piece of my childhood, a coin that most people in Australia likely have not seen before, and some other small goodies! Enjoy.
