A not so quick hike with a (hopefully) quick find on the way up Rochester Mountain.
I had been badgering Smaxwellp for weeks to use one of our precious days off together to go for a hike up a nearby mountain. After countless requests she finally gave in and agreed to accompany me up to Mt. Cushman. Of course, while we were here I made the impromptu decision to head across to Rochester Mountain as well and grab the cache up here from 2001. My detour added about another 1.5 miles to our already fairly significant hike. About halfway up Rochester her hips started bothering her and it was only with much huffing, puffing and swearing that we made it all the way to the top.
I decided while we were heading up the hill, that I would drop a cache to commemorate the spot that I am pretty sure she would have left me far behind, if only she had been holding the keys to the car.
