Geocache Description:

Grab your bike or walking shoes to access this series of caches along the WV 9 bike trail. The entire bike trail is paved. It is about 10.5 miles end to end with over 50 caches now along it. All the caches are accessible from the bike trail.

A picture of the bike trail is posted in this gallery. The bike trail has gentle rolling hills. This cache can only be accessed by walking or biking. No accessing from Route 9 - parking is ILLEGAL on Route 9. There is a fence separating Route 9 from the Bike Trail. All Caches are located on the bike trail side of the fence.

Martinsburg parking coordinates are listed below. Parking is at the trail head near the Regional Jail.

This cache is at the bottom of the hill. You can park your car or your bike right next to the cache.

Don't leave the Bike Trail without checking out a cache that was one of West Virginia's Top Ten Geocaches!

"GADGET CACHE" (GC333J2) is located just off the Kearneysville exit (480) off Route 9, if your driving, there is parking right next to the cache, if your biking, it is less than 4 miles down the trail. This is a multi cache, right next to the bike trail. The stages are very close together. This is a fun one for the whole family. You will be using your sense of "smell" to solve this cache. A really fun one, you won't want to miss.
