Geocache Description:

Trouble Afoot

Welcome to a small series planned and placed by Mudbrick & g_ordo.

This series will take you on a walk of the Ingliston gorge circuit. It is just over a 5k perambulation, and will take you on a journey through a little known gem on the western gorges.

So pack a picnic and take your time to enjoy. In a hurry you could possible finish this in 2 - 2.5 hrs. To enjoy the search and the sights I would suggest allow 3.5 - 4 hrs to complete. It is not a difficult walk, but there are several times you will encounter a small scramble to either cross a creek or retrieve a cache.

It is a little known fact that Noah was the pioneer of geocaching... After all he placed the Ark, and no-one has logged that!
His method was to place caches, taking homing pigeons with him, he would show them the location, then head back to his abode. Here he would select animals in pairs, and give them the task of finding his cache, with the assistance of the pigeon.
It soon became evident to poor Noah that either the pigeons weren't all that interested, of the animals weren't overly interested.
While the animals have been able to find a handfull of Noah's craftily hidden caches, they soon gave up and turned their attentions to less demanding activities.
So here you go, an archaeological wonder awaits you, as you go in search of an ancient series i=of hides, culminating in the discovery of the Holy Grail..... What, oh, ok, well then, the Lost Ark.
