Very easy cache find at Hamden Covered Bridge - come to enjoy the bridge!
I enjoy covered bridges and got my start geocaching just up the road at Fitches Covered Bridge in 2011 when I was taking pictures of it and a couple would not get out of the way. They introduced me to geocaching and in Feb of 2012 I was hooked. It was a pleasure to find out that about 90% of the covered bridges had a geocache on them. On 8/10/13, after returning from a wedding in Vermont, I decided to visit this area again - where it all began! I was surprised there was no cache at this covered bridge so sought to rectify that. Please come and visit this beautiful bridge. Parking is located on the north side of the bridge, very close to the cache container. Watch for traffic, and BYOP. Hamden Covered Bridge was originally built in 1859, and is 125 feet long, listed as #32-13-03 in the registry of covered bridges. Bridgin' and Cachin' - with a Passion!!!
