Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by the Palmetto State Hangers (a hammock camping group) during the second annual SC Fall Sprawl 2012 at Santee State Park, September 7-9, 2012.  There were over 30 campers who hammock camped in the primitive scout camping area.  Campers came from SC, NC, GA & FL.  Several campers were interested in placing a geocache and donated swag and an ammo can.  It is located just off the Limestone Nature Trail and is a short walk from where the trail crosses Cleveland St.  It should be an easy find.  Please, re-hide well. Keep a watchful eye out for gators! The cache was placed with permission by the park rangers.
