Geocache Description:

Quick Park N Grab on the side of 53rd Ave. You do not have to cross over the ditch, it is not in the woods.

53rd Ave traverses Northern Gainesville from I-75 east to Waldo Rd. Lagging behind some of its counterparts in development for some time now, that seems like it it getting ready to change. With Walmart opening on the West side of town just north of 53rd, realtors report increased interest in the surrounding areas.

53rd Ave is also home to the Alachua County Animal Services. In addition to fostering lost and abandoned animals, they offer a wide variety of additional services. Be sure to check out the adoptable pets section of their website!
