I had grand ideas for an epic cache to celebrate my 200thcache placement. However while visiting this area today I noticed this little spot I had never seen before. Upon visiting, my sense of gratitude had never been higher. Remembering what happened on this date eleven years ago combined with seeing the sacrifice of these folks really hit me. If this cache gives you that same feeling, I can think of no better way to mark my 200thcache placement.
This is a simple two stage multi. Log only. At the posted coordinates you need to find and read the two paragraph passage under the eagle. You will then use that passage to decrypt a clue as to where to find the cache.
From the passage you need to go ABC degrees for XYZ feet to find another very nice quote and the cache. Convert letter found in the passage to a number (a=1, b=2, c=3, .....)
A = first paragraph, fourteenth word, first letter
B = second paragraph, fourteenth word, first letter
C = second paragraph, second word, first letter
X = second paragraph, sixth word, first letter
Y = first paragraph, sixteenth word, first letter
Z = second paragraph, twenty fourth word, first letter
