This series of caches is placed along the newly opened Whiskeag Trail, which runs from the YMCA to the Thorne Head Preserve. The trail is 5 miles long and runs along the Whiskeag Creek. At Thorne Head the fresh water mixes with the brackish water of the Kennebec Estuary. An estuary is a body of water where fresh and salt water mix.
Anatidaephobia is the fear that you are being watched by a duck (go figure)
