Geocache Description:

This is an uphill hike! If you prefer a gravel road route, great! Just keep climbing until you get to the far end of the Ridgeview horse trail. OR you can start at the bottom of the Ridgeview horse trail (near the three way fork in the road). It's clearly marked with a horse picture. I recommend that route...it's far more scenic

PGCAR2012: Julio the Bird

I was pulled into 1grl_revolution's "pet" themed hides in the area. Julio was my budgie bird. He was a beautiful blue colour and would sing me a song when I came home at the end of the day. He was an SPCA "rescue" from a terrible home, and though he could be fearful at times, he never lost his happy little spirit. Sadly Julio passed away after catching a cold. His little chirpy self is missed.
The cache hide is pretty well camouflaged but it's on a lovely little backwoods horse trail...enjoy the scenery! If you actually do see a horse, I probably wouldn't recommend creeping around in the bush trying not to get muggled. I can't see that ending well for the horse or the rider...or you.
