Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a busy bridge.

This cache is located near a popular walking and cycling path on a bridge over the Sunshine Motorway.  You will need to be very sneaky, as the road is very busy, and many people walk and cycle here frequently, especially at certain times of the day.  Sometimes I am one of them, so be stealthy: I may be watching!   You may encounter people on their way to the nearby University of the Sunshine Coast, or the nearby Chancellor State School, or the nearby police station.

The best way to get this cache is probably on bicycle.  The paths are wide and easy to ride.  If you intend on parking and then finding the cache, the best parking spots are probably at USC or the school or the additional waypoint provided, followed by a short walk to the cache.

If you follow this wide path to the other side of the bridge and turn left, you will be able to enjoy a lovely walk/cycle between the Sunshine Motorway and the National Park (and pick up some more caches on the way).  If you follow this path to the other side of the bridge and turn right, you could end up at the University of the Sunshine Coast and enjoy a dip in the USC pool (which is open to the public).

The amount of road and foot and cycle traffic you may encounter could make for a tricky find at certain times of the day.  The cache does not contain any writing implements, so BYO pen or pencil.  No swaps please.

There is no need to leave the safety of the fences lining both sides of the walkway.  There is no need to search anywhere dangerous or electrical.  The cache can be found at night as the bridge is well lit.

You are looking for a small magnetic container.    Please hide the cache away from prying eyes after you find it: I have been past a couple of times and had to re-position the cache. Please check that it is pushed it back, away from prying eyes.

Happy caching!
