Geocache Description:

A treasure box! There is no need to climb on any trees. No need to disturb any grass. No need to turn or push any stones. The cache is visible easily (if you know where to look). It's _not_ magnetic either :>

The 12 sided ice house in the HOME PARK of Hampton Court was built 1625-6. It is situated to the left of the path from the entrance at Hampton Wick.

It was designed for the storage of ice. Once stored the ice could be used throughout the summer for preparing summer desserts, cooling wines and preserving meat and fish

The Park is opened from dawn til dusk.

A great thanks goes to the fine management of the Historic Royal Palaces who helped placing this cache.
