When preparing this listing, I discovered the difference in spelling between the maps and the corner stone on the church itself. The maps, including topographic, property ownership and the county road system map, all list this church and cemetery as Mt. Herman. However, the cornerstone on the church itself lists the name as Mt. Hermon A.M.E. Zion Church, founded May 27, 1900.
However the name should be spelled, the cemetery can be found next to the church and the cache on the perimeter of the cemetery.
