This cache is in recognition for the oldest Lutheran church in St. Petersburg. It just turned over 100 years old. The cache is big enough for TBs and geocoins.
CONGRATS to meatman1 for FTF!!
On March 26, 1911, the first Lutheran congregation on the West Coast of Florida was organized with eighteen charter members. Services were held in a room over a garage on the corner of Second Avenue and Second Street South. Later, a chapel and parsonage were built three blocks west of the garage quarters. By 1920, they needed to relocate to a larger home.
The original chapel and parsonage were sold and the present location was selected as the site for the new sanctuary. The first service was held in the nave on October 24, 1924.
There might be a lot of muggles smoking across the street during any of the meetings at night that the church hosts.
This area has high muggle traffic on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I would stay away from this place at those times, so that muggles won’t get curious. Permission has already been granted by the church council and pastor.
