Geocache Description:

CONGRATULATIONS to jonesy420 on the FTF!!!
I have been wanting to place my first cache for a long time and I finally put together the time to place this one. Hopefully there are a few more to come. I got the idea for this cache last spring when I was driving the back roads of the Murray to discover the so called airport that we had. It pretty much lived up to my expectations... A runway and a few buildings in the middle of a cornfield.

This cache is named "Pilot Cache" because this is my first cache, or my Pilot cache, and also because if you go to find this cache you are likely to see a few pilots at the local airport. The container is a camouflaged, tube like, container. BYOP! There is nothing in the container except a stash note, a log, and a monetary prize for the FTF.
There is no pull off near this cache, but this is not a busy road, and I parked on the side of the road for nearly an hour while I placed this cache, averaged my coordinates, and let Chunk (my Australian Shepherd dog) play with the sticks along the side of the road. Although there are no houses in the immediate area, please be cognizant of the houses along the road and do not disturb them or the crops growing on the opposite side of the road. I hope you enjoy hunting for my Pilot Cache.
