Geocache Description:


This is the third installment of my Turtle Mountain series and by far the longest walk to the cache. Currently you can park at the same location as you would to search for Turtle Mnts. #2 as per the coordinates below. The hike out and around to the cache is about a kilometer each way. Follow the proposed road to the southwest then the gravel access road up and around to the cache on top the hill. Bring along you camera gear and your binoculars for some of the best views of the city and surrounding hillsides. On my trip up to hide the cache I saw several mule deer and a couple of coyotes off to the west.
