Spaziergang auf dem Kreuzweg
Einer der ältesten Spazierwege Grödens führt Sie durch eine bezaubernd schöne Landschaft bis ins Langental.
Der Kreuzweg in Wolkenstein beginnt in der Fraktion Daunei und ist im Sommer aber auch im Winter ein sehr beliebtes Ziel für viele Spaziergänger. Er zählt außerdem zu den ältesten Spazierwegen in Gröden und zeichnet sich vor allem durch eine besonders schöne Landschaft aus.
Von Daunei aus führt der Weg unterhalb der Stevia-Wände am Rande der Ortschaft Wolkenstein entlang, bis in das Langental zur St. Sylvester Kapelle. Der Kreuzweg umfasst außerdem auch 15 Stationen, die die Leidensgeschichte Christi darstellen. Das Besondere daran ist, dass die Stationen von einheimischen Künstlern im Jahre 1983 realisiert worden sind und Baumstämme geschnitzt wurden.

Passeggiata sulla Via Crucis
Uno dei più antichi sentieri della Val Gardena vi porta attraverso un paesaggio mozzafiato fino in Vallunga.
La Via Crucis a Selva in Val Gardena prende il suo inizio presso la frazione Daunei ed é un’amata meta per chi ama fare delle passeggiate, sia d’estate che anche d’inverno. Inoltre, la questo sentiero è uno dei più antichi della Val Gardena ed è caratterizzato dal fantastico paesaggio che lo circonda.
Da Daunei il sentiero vi porta ai piedi delle maestose ed erte pareti dello Stavia, costeggiano il bosco adiacente, fino alla cappella di San Silvestro in Vallunga. Il sentiero è inoltre arricchito di ben 15 stazioni, le quali mostrano la Passione di Cristo. La particolarità di questa singole stazioni é che sono state create da artisti locali nel 1983 e sono scolpiti in un grande tronco di legno.

Walking tour on the Via Crucis
One of the oldest walking trails in the Val Gardena leads you through a fascinating landscape to the Vallunga Valley.
The Via Crucis in Selva di Gardena starts in the small locality of Daunei and is a very popular destination in every season of the year. Moreover, it is one of the oldest walking trails in the Val Gardena and distinguishes itself mainly through its extraordinary landscape.
From Daunei, the trail leads to the San Silvestro chapel in the Vallunga Valley, passing under the impressive peaks of the Stevia mountain range. The Via Crucis has 15 Stations of the Cross, depicting the final hours of Jesus Christ. Interestingly, those stations were carved from tree trunks by local artists in the year 1983.
