Primary Colors Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

ChyronJay: This cache was once one of my favorites, both in puzzle type and find difficulty. But for various reasons it has outlived its usefulness. It was fun while it lasted, and I thank those who found it and gave feedback.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Here's another hide in Vienna, on private property and placed with permission.  The usual private property rules apply: respect the area, and do not hunt at night.  Also, take note of the terrain rating.  Not all hides are suitable for all cachers. And, obviously, the cache is not at the published coordinates. Solve the puzzle to find them.

Relocation Note: The original location for this cache was demolished, and so it was moved to a new location, very close to the old one. The coordinates have not changed, but you'll want to look around GZ a bit before attempting the grab.

A Humble Request, from Your CO: Certitude allows you to be anonymous when you validate coordinates, but I'd love to see who the solvers are. Please consider letting it display your name.

A note about parking: Parking is NOT available on the private property. Don't take a chance. There is parking on nearby side roads.

Please log DNFs.  I use them to gauge difficulty, activity and the need for maintenance checks.

Way way back, many centuries ago it seems like, I got involved with geocaching.  I have almost 500 finds as I write this, but I still feel green in many ways.  For example, I only recently realized that it's just peachy to post DNFs; before that I refused to post them on principle, like I was afraid I'd be tagged with a scarlet letter or three on my chest.  Also recently, I decided I would like to start hiding caches.  THAT turned out to be harder than finding them.  Munching on an orange, which tastes a whole lot better than olives, I sit at my keyboard, trying to come up with yet another style of puzzle for the Vienna area.  It takes forever.  It would take less time to manufacture ochre from clay. (What?  You didn't know ochre is made from clay?  What's wrong with you?)  What to base it on... foods?  Cities?  Music?  The GNU Mauve free software project?  Okay, I was just kidding about that last one.  Besides, I've already done a software-like puzzle, and, well... let's just say it has over 100 fails and only a dozen solves.  It'll be awhile before that one gets in the black.  Hmm.  Maybe I can throw in a reference to "The Big Bang Theory," perhaps the episode where Howard Wollowitz tries to think of an astronaut nickname and Raj comes up with "Brown Dynamite" (don't ask).  Gah.  So many possibilities.  My face is turning red from the strain of trying to think of a good cache puzzle!  But just before madness sets in, I realize I already have one.  And it's right here!

Sorry, there is no hint
here. Move along.
You can validate your puzzle solution
with certitude.
FTS/FTF congratulations to Serrabou, who no doubt looks handsome and smart.
