Geocache Description:

This cache site can be treacherous in the winter and spring.  Good footwear required.  Small lock n lock.

This cache site can be treacherous in the winter and spring.  Good footwear required.  I used to walk this trail often while out with my dog. One time, my kids were along for the hike and the water level had risen to the point where we had to make a human chain to help the littlest ones across.  One did not quite make the jump and ended up knee deep in water and having to slosh her way home.  The following summer, the water was at an all time low, and I realized, had she jumped a foot to the left, she would have been up to her armpits.  I never realized just how deep this stream got and it runs like a river when it is full.
