Geocache Description:

A 3-part multi near the Lower Lliw reservoir. Nothing of the history of the place is included here since you will have to read about this on the way.

The gate leading to the parking area is shut at “dusk”. After that apparently the barrier will open if you drive slowly towards it though we have not tested this ourselves.
Please ensure your dog is kept on the lead as there has been an instance of sheep killing here recently. Also do not let it swim in the reservoir since we have to drink that water.

There are now 3 noticeboards, one at the posted coordinates, the others at either end of the cafe. You will need to visit them all to get the information for stage 2.

Stage 2 is at: N 51°42.DEB W 003°57.AHH

Where:
The year of the cholera outbreak = ABCD
The length of the circular walk in km = E
The year the dam was built (from the Giant Bath Plugs noticeboard) = FGHI

Stage 2 is a micro in which you will find the numbers to fill in the co-ordinates for the last stage together with a cryptic clue to arranging them. Requires lateral thinking. The difficulty rating is based on this stage since none of the people we tested it on could work it out, though we know you are made of stronger stuff.

Thanks to Eclectic Penguin for advice about the siting of this cache. His cache “Between the Lakes” is at the north end of this reservoir, why not take the co-ordinates in case you will be near it.
