Geocache Description:

This is a NIGHT TIME cache using reflectors, so darkness and a torch are essential. This one is again a Child friendly cache, and with the darker nights and Halloween rapidly approaching, this one should be a welcome break from the 'norm'.

The trailhead and parking area is on a VERY busy duel carriageway. Exercise extreme caution when parking up and leaving this location. Parking is on a grass verge which may be soft during periods of wet weather. Alternative parking would be on the other side of the carriageway on a tarmac hard shoulder, but crossing the busy carriageway then comes into play.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFULL
Part of the old Coach Road that allowed their Lordships to go by carriage from the Clandeboye Estate to the Train Station at Helen's Bay without having to come into too much contact with the peasants. Now part of the Ulster Way and a great quiet walk.
The path to this cache is reasonably flat and in most places in good order but in patches it is muddy. Wear decent walking shoes also as it is about a two mile round trip.

Once you have checked that you have a torch and your swaps lets go.

Through the little wooden gate we go look for the green reflectors which indicate GO and follow the path over a couple of small bridges until you join the main wider 'Avenue'.

Set off along the tree lined path looking out for small white discs above head height. These are placed at reasonably regular intervals along the path. There is no need to leave the path until you hit the red/orange reflector which is where you will need to turn. Follow the white discs again for a short while until you see the different shaped white reflector. This indicates the area in which the cache is located. If you spot another red/orange reflector you have gone too far.
