Event will be held at Ashtabula County fairgrounds Bob Barnard building on Covered bridge festival weekend. Temporary caches will be set at all 18 covered bridges for the event. There will be code words in the caches to complete 3 puzzles which you can win prizes for completing. The tour to go to all 18 covered bridges is approximately 135 miles total. In order to have time to enjoy each bridge along your journey, Finished puzzles can be dropped back off in drop box at fairgrounds before 7pm saturday and before 3pm Sunday. So take your time, no need to rush. This is a great time of year for photos at the bridges. There are also permenant caches at each bridge. Winners will be drawn Sunday around 5pm (Need not be present to win) More info will be available at the event. Event logbook will open at 10am-1pm. Ashtabula county is home to the country's longest at 518 feet and shortest at 18 feet covered bridges. There will be many other activities going on around the fairgrounds all weekend. There is a $3 fee to enter fairgrounds but allows you to go thru everything that is going on. The complete loop tour of all 18 covered bridges is great this weekend as local organizations set up by bridges with info and souvenirs.
Put this event on your watchlist for updates.
Happy Caching!
