Geocache Description:

Linkin Park were one of the defining bands of my late teen's/early 20's.
"Crawling" and "One Step Closer" were two of the most commonly played songs on my stereo, right behind every song on Live's album "Throwing Copper"
When I saw the street sign for this sports ground, I knew I had to place a cache here.

Home ground of the Ashhurst Athletic and Harrier Club and Ashhurst-Pohangina Rugby Football Club Lincoln Park is a multi-purpose sports ground with athletics played during the summer months and different grades of hockey, rugby and soccer during the winter.
The walkway from Durham St Reserve to McCraes Bush also runs through the back of this park.

It is along this walkway that you will find the cache.
There are many mature eucalyptus trees that will provide you with limited muggle cover from the sport ground, but I still wouldn't recommend attempting this one on a busy sports day!
Unfortunately these trees will also impact on your GPS' accuracy.

Originally a 200ml systema container, the hide has been changed to a waterproof match container containing a roll of waterproof paper and a pen (please don't take the pen!!!).
