A circular walk of approximately 4 miles on well defined paths, with 8 caches plus two existing caches, Roy Farrell’s Chair and Fang’s Den also on the route. Loweswater is one of our favourite places and this walk is a regular one for us, so we hope you enjoy it too.
From Edal’s Holt return to the main path and continue down through the wood and turn right when you meet the large path alongside the lake. This area is very popular with walkers so you may need to take care not to get muggled. The walk passes through working farm land, so please keep dogs on the lead. The paths are steep in places and can get muddy after rain, so suitable footwear is advised.
