A circular walk of approximately 4 miles on well defined paths, with 8 caches plus two existing caches, Roy Farrell’s Chair and Fang’s Den also on the route. Loweswater is one of our favourite places and this walk is a regular one for us, so we hope you enjoy it too.
From Piglets Sty follow the path past the farm and then turn left through the gate. There is a very worn signpost saying Bridleway to Fang’s Brow. Carry straight on to next gate and turn right after going through the gate. The walk passes through working farm land, so please keep dogs on the lead. The paths are steep in places and can get muddy after rain, so suitable footwear is advised.
