Geocache Description:


Zestig jaar nadat het vliegtuig van Warrant officer Ivan Maers na een
luchtgevecht in 1943 boven de Vlooiberg in Tielt-Winge werd geraakt,
crashte het in deelgemeente Houwaart.
Ivan Maers kwam met zijn parachute in een boom terecht op de
Vlooiberg,dicht bij de baan Leuven-Diest. (bron: René de Keyzer.)
Het is hier dat ook vele fretten zich schuilhouden,probeer maar zo,n
frettenstaart te pakken.
