A short, beautiful, but somewhat
steep walk down from the Astoria Column.
Caution: There is a large dropoff near this location (thus the view). Be sure to keep dogs on a leash and children
under control.
To reach the cache, walk down the grassy hill from the Column and onto the road
at the bottom. Follow the road for a short distance and watch for a trail
heading up from the road to your right.
The view just a few feet further down the trail from the cache site is not as panoramic as from the Column, but it is a
great place to see Astoria a bit closer up.
