We always had numerous colouring books when I was young. Some of my favourites were the ones that required you to use a pencil to join the numbered dots before getting busy with the colouring pencils or paint. In the best ones, the content wasn’t obvious until at least some of the lines had been added. It was like solving a puzzle to find out what the picture was. If you enjoyed them, too, then this cache may remind you of them.
PRINT THIS PICTURE AND TAKE IT WITH YOU!

There are two sets of dots in the above picture. The cache is hidden at one of the red dots which are labelled AA to XX. You could just go visit each of them. You might be lucky and find the cache quickly. But it might be in the last place you look, too. I don’t recommend this method.
Instead, visit the blue dots which are labelled S1 to S7. At each one there is a tag that contains a code in the form YYZZ. YY and ZZ represent two of the dots on the picture. Draw a line from one dot to the other. Very soon, you’ll know where to find the cache.
Notes:
- The dark grey lines indicate old wire fences. Either avoid them or be careful not to run into or trip over them.
- The thin black line marks the trail: #27.
- The blue dots can be visited in any order.
- Each blue dot is easy to get to when accessed directly from the trail. If you choose to go directly from one to another then there may be a bushwhack and/or a fence to contend with.
- There is a reflective tack located very close to each tag to help make them easier to find. There is not a tack at the cache.
- Snowshoes are recommended for winter.
- In a mob? Take advantage of it.
- Forgot to bring the picture? Use the routing capabilities of your GPS.
| WARNING: There may be fence fragments that aren’t marked here. Use your geosenses.
If you find a fence fragment that isn’t marked here, please let me know where it is and I’ll add it to the picture.
