There about a dozen caches on the I-275 Bike Trail between the northern end and Eight Mile Road. There is space for two or three dozen more. This is one of a set of four between Nine Mile and Ten Mile to fill in that section. Since I am not sure what order I will place them in I am naming some of them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after the Chicago Bicycle Company. Chicago Bicycle Company. Chicago Bicycle Company in 1994 was founded by the owner of the Vermont Teddy Bear Company who was trying to market a bicycle aimed at commuters. Production was in Chicago, Illinois. It was a short-lived company.
This intended to be a Ride & Grab cache. A tree trimming crew did this one in and the cache container is a paint by number container. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
