Illuminati: The Teacher and The Master Letterbox Hybrid

In 2006 a series of caches appeared in the SaliNas area about the Illuminati. The caches were hidden by an unknOwn person simply known as the "teacher." It was later determined that this was actually local cacher Touchstone. However, when looking over these caches, I found evidence to the existence of another, better hidden illuMinatus named, "the master." After doing a little snooping I as to the identity of this "master," I received a letter inviting me to follow the path of illumination at Sunset State Beach.The  letter stated that I must start at the posted coords and project a waypoint at 153 degrEes at 0.3 miles where i will find a sign. Then, using that sign as the key I had to decipher the following puzzle:

This lead me to the final coordinate with a cache that, ineXpliably, seemed to have been  hidden by this unknown "master." i have been able to determine the "master's" identity and have even hidden it in this cache description, for those of you who are perceptive. if you can figure it out, you may even realize that the teacher and the master may have quite a bit in common too.
