Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Boxerwood Gardens

Welcome to Boxerwood! My favorite place to visit!. Boxerwood is a Nature Center and Woodland Garden located in Lexington, Virginia . It  is the legacy of Robert S. Munger (1911-1988). It is situated in a rolling Virginia valley nestled between the Allegany and Appalachian Mountains. The thirty acre site contains six distinct habitats and fifteen acres of mature, naturalistically planted trees and shrubs, featuring both native and unusual plant specimens.     

The Gardens and the Play Trail are open every day during daylight hours.  The Welcome Center, Munger Lodge, is located at the end of the driveway. If it is closed, maps are outside the front door.


Please make sure that you take pictures and don't forget to post them. The cache is between a small and medium container. It is great for travelbugs and other goodies. BYOP
