Another easy P/G with a great view of the Columbia River near McNary Dam
The original SP&S RR mainline exited out of Tunnel 13 bored thru the rock bluff to the west and then curved along the shoreline to the east. The construction of McNary Dam forced the railroad to be relocated higher up on the slope thru the rock cut to the west and Tunnel 13 was abandoned.
