A large cliplock box with room for many items of geoswag and trackables. Lovely views of the Caldicot levels and Denny Island. A view you wil be getting used to as you try to get at the log book.
A nice stroll of just under 2 miles from the suggested parking coordinates. Up the small hill, Mynydd alltir Fach.
As well as the two listed parking spots there is room for one car only in a large passing spot near the start of the footpath up the hill. It is a passing spot but it is large enough for two cars so I suppose you could park here making the walk up the hill and back near enough half a mile. The path is quite good but I would not recommend it for Wheelchairs or prams/buggies, Sorry. The cache is a box within a box. You will have to take your time to actually open the small box containing the log. I will not accept any finds if you have not actually signed the log book.
It hopefully goes without saying.... Please do not attempt to force or break the box as this is against the point. Please report any damage to the small box upon finding as this will help me maintain the cache promptly.
This small hill is very seldom walked upon but does provide a worthwhile view from the top and allows the walker a nice moment of peace once at the top on the nice little clearing.
There are a number of offerings on the surrounding trees,please do not remove any of these as the area is sacred to some ;)
