Naked Boy Hill Traditional Cache

The Cache is hidden on a beautifull place on top of the hill calles "Naked Boy Hill". By car you can drive to Guanabay and leave your car at the foot of the hill. The walk is 1.3 km up the hill along a bad road with a lot of loose rocks. "Wear good walking shoes". The vieuw on the way to the top is beautifull. Lots of views over Guanabay and nearby Dawn Beach. On the top you get a beatifull view over Philipsburg and the Salt Pond.
The cache is placed on top of the hill called "Naked Boy Hill". The name of the hill comes from Early days, named for a tree that grows on it. The tree looks a bit like a guava tree, it's bark peels off and what is left is smooth and pinkish and looks like the skin of a naked child. You can drive by car or cab to Guanabay. Leave your car on the foot of the hill at the Pen Chell road. (Near to the last houses) and walk up over the Pen Chell Road. Take enough water with you. The trip is 1.4 km steep uphill. On the way up, you will have some great views over Guanabay, Dawn Beach and in the distence you see Oyster Pond and when the weather is good you will see in the distance St Eustasius, St. Barth and maybe St. Kitts. On top of the hill there is a big radio antenna station and gives a grat view over the area. You will have a great view over the Suckergarden, salt Pond and Philipsburg and the Cruise Terminal. When Up, take the stairs to the Antenna and then walk all the way to the end. There you have the view over Phillipsburg and you can start the search for the cache.
