Big Spring, which is located a half-mile east of the parking lot on Fredon-Springdale Road, pumps out nearly a million gallons of fresh water per day and is one of the main tributaries to the Pequest River. I had been wanting to place a cache here for some time and finally had a chance to make the beautiful hike.
Ammo Can placed in a rock out cropping near the big spring. Many water fowl and wildlife frequent this area so bring a camera and extra time to take in the area. Look for and old sign near by noting "Big Spring" just in case you missed it! Enjoy.
Hunting is allowed on the property so wear orange when in season.
