Challenges have become such a fun part of our sport/hobby/pastime of Geocaching. While checking out some challenges from other areas, I noticed that there are HUNDREDS of the "Challenge of the Centuries"- these are where you need to find 100 Traditionals, or 100 Unknowns, 100 Multis, 100 events, etc., but this is a different kind, introduced to me by Indiana cacher TankHounds.
100? This seems a little excessive, so 99 is Fine! I've personally done quite a few "Challenge of the Centuries" Challenges, but I thought I'd make mine just a little easier.
Your Challenge is to find 99 caches that have animals in the title. What kind of critters? Any critters -
mammals, birds, fish, arachnids, insects, worms, reptiles, dinosaurs, etc. If it fits into the Animal Kingdom (or did at some point in time), it counts - with one exception - People Don't Count!
NAMES of dogs and other pets also don't count! It HAS to be the actual animal!
The animals can be, but don't have to be, stand alone words: zebra, alligator, bee, T-Rex, etc. They can be part of other words: catdog, seagullopolis, geocat's, frogger, bullseye, etc. And "bug" does count (or Travelbug) but TB does NOT count.
GSAK could be your best friend while checking your list. You may already qualify!!
For this Challenge you must find and provide proof via an INDIVIDUAL BookMark list (no combining for all six challenges), screen shot, or the complete list in your log of finding these 99 caches.
Yes, I've done it- my bookmark list is attached
100?!?! That's just crazy-talk!
