Geocache Description:

A multi-cache (offset cache) in Standing Rock Cemetery

Because of the previous cache continually going missing, the Crypt-Keeper is making a return, and is coming back a little more difficult. It wants you to traverse most of the cemetery and see many of the important areas before going to find the final in the creepy woods. Along the way, you will gather information that will ultimately lead you to the Crypt-Keeper's treasure.

The treasure is located at:

N 41 10.AAB
W 081 21.CDD

To start your journey, head to the coordinates listed at the top of the page. Here you'll find the grave of a young soldier that the Crypt-Keeper took well before his time. In order to find AA, count the number of letters in the young man's name, then subtract the month (#) of his death.

The next step in your journey to find the Crypt-Keeper's treasure, you will need to head to these coordinates:

N 41 10.092
W 081 21.115

Here the Crypt-Keeper has stored many bodies above ground. You must find Thomas Hunt's name (he has a veteran's marker (a bronze plaque)) and get the following information in order to get B: the last number in his birth year.

After you have obtained this information, head to the last set of coordinates below:

N 41 10.108
W 081 20.960

Here you will find a small section of the cemetery that has been surrounded by hedges as well as a granite marker in the open off to the left. "Head to the marker first," instructs the Crypt-Keeper. Once you are there, count the number of animals on the stone facing the pathway. This will give you C.

"Return to the break in the hedges and look at the stone marker," the Crypt-Keeper informs you. "Welcome to Breakneck Cemetery."

To find the last set of numbers you need to find the Keeper's treasure, count the number of letters on the plaque (minus the word established) and then add 2. This gives you DD.

"Now you have all the information to find my treasure," the Crypt-Keeper says. As his voice fades, he gives you a friendly reminder, "Respect the graves!"

Good luck with finding the treasure. You are looking for a small container, big enough to hold small swag. Be sure to replace it as you found it, and remember to be mindful and respectful of all gravesites. Thank you to Dame Deco for informing me of the slight error in listed coordinates for stage three; these have been corrected.
