This cache is placed at the mouth of the River Scaddle, which is what Inverscaddle means. There is a good view across to the Nevis Range from the bridge at Inverscaddle. Underneath there is evidence of a cobbled ford. The road is a fairly quiet road and can be used, via the Corran Ferry, to get to Mallaig from the mainland whilst avoiding Fort William, and vice versa. A nice change from the busier A road on the other side of Loch Linnhe.
