Natural Stone Bridge at the Guanica Dry Forest Reserve.
Felicidades a denisevx por su FTF en este cache!!!!
This cache was placed at the end of the 5th Geocaching Event of Puerto Rico. It is a tribute to those who accepted attended and completed the challenge presented by the organizers. More than 5 hours of geocaching, walking in the dry forest and searching for very well hidden caches, hard to find. Some of them took almost an hour to find while we walked past them several times.
The area of the cache has beautiful beaches, a scenic view of the ocean and a peculiar stone bridge. You might want to bring some swimming gear to spend the evening there.
You will be looking for a small container that can hold several goodies and trackables.
Initially, the cache contains the logbook, pencil, stickers, CITO Bags, and an FTF geocoin to move along. Although it has a pencil I would recommend bringing one just in case because the walk back to the parking area is about 15 - 20 minutes long.
I would recommend bringing some drinking water for the walk since you will be under the sun most of the time.
There is a parking area at the designated coords. If the parking area is flooded the parking gate might be closed. You can park outside the gate, in the side of the road. From there begin to walk by the trail towards the reference point. Then go back to the cache in the best practical way. You will find out there.
You don't have to go down to sea level to retrieve the cache.
There are several more caches in the area that you can also find while visiting this one.
The hidding place is marked with a "G" on the rocks.
