The cache is a short 3 (easy) steps-multi in the heart of Tel-Aviv. The true reward is not the cache (which is also nice) but the cool story behind the two streets that have NO name.
This story has it all: a young country (Israel), a cool new city (Tel Aviv), two rich powerful men with big powerful egos and one woman.
The story begins with Meir Getzel Shapiro, a rich man from Detroit that moved with his wife Sonia to Tel Aviv. Meir helped build the Shapira neighborhood and the two tiny alleys you will walk in: Simta Plonit(which translate to : Unidentified person Alley) and Simta Almonit (Unknown Alley). The problem is that Sonia (his wife) had an hard time adjusting to this new place (Israel) so Meir decided he will build her an impressive home to make her happy, he built a huge house with a lion in front that used to have red rubies as eyes, Sonia didn’t like the feeling of sand in her feet so he paved the whole street and in the entranced to the street he placed huge obelisks, and to top it all he changed the name of the street to Sonia and the street next by to Meir. Here is where the plot thickens; the city had another man named Meir, Meir Dizengoff, Tel-Aviv’s Mayor. Dizengofff didn’t like people doing whatever they want in his city so he told the some workers to take town the sign, but Getzel Shapiro just put them up again and a cat-mouse game were one Meir puts up the signs at night and the other Meir takes them down in the morning. Finally Getzel Shapiro came to Dizengoff's office tried to show him who's the boss and the story says they even had a little fight, since both of their egos didn’t want to let go, Dizengoff gave the order to give the street names that in no way give reference to Sonia or Meir, but until then he will name them "Unknown" and "Unidentified" and with all the bureaucracy of a new city in a new country this name were filed and forgotten and until today in the middle of Tel-Aviv in a prime location there are two streets that have no name, just decided "Unknown"(אלמוני) and "Unidentified"(פלוני).
