Il Laghetto della Val di Mello.

Nel luglio 2009 dalla zona centrale della grande parete Est del Qualido, si è staccato un grande pilastro 70 x 20 x 10 che è precipitando frantumandosi nella ripida Val Qualido. Il materiale accumulato alla base della parete ha fatto da diga al torrente e il giorno dopo sotto un violento temporale ha proseguito la sua discesa fino al piano della Val di Mello dove ha ostruito in parte il corso del torrente Mello, formando un grazioso laghetto.

Per accedere alla Val di mello in auto bisogna pagare un ticket, è comunque possibile lasciare l'auto a San Martino, dove ci sono diversi parcheggi a pagamento e liberi  e quindi proseguire a piedi.
