Geocache Description:

This is a nice community park where the boys love to play.

This 5 acre park was created in 1907.  From 1922 to 1943, there was a covered grandstand for spectators to watch the various sporting events including the Sapperton Junior Lacrosse Club.  In later years, the Sapperton Rover soccer club played in the park.

A wading pool and play area were first built in 1921.  The current spray park, playground, and picnic area was built in the 1970s.

The soccer and softball field is used extensively year-round with outdoor lights for night games.

You will need your own pen for this cache.

Watch for muggles - there are lots of kids playing in this park year-round.  The previous Sapperton Park caches (GC1JN9X and GC3HMDK) have been muggled a few times.  Hopefully, this one will stay intact for a while.
