The K9 Cacher series highlights some of my favorite dog-friendly places in Kenosha. Bring your K9 Cacher and enjoy the area!
You are looking for a camo pill bottle. This cache does not require any bushwacking.
This K9 Cache is located in Southport Park a bit northwest of the Kenosha Sand Dunes. This park and the sand dunes are one of our favorite places to take our K9 Cachers Annie & Oakley for some exercise. In the summer, we like to walk the shoreline south so the pups can play on the water.

Information about the Kenosha Sand Dunes
The Kenosha Sand Dunes are the northern part of the Chiwaukee Prairie, a State Natural Area in Pleasant Prairie located south of the City of Kenosha along the Lake Michigan Shoreline. The dunes were once owned by the Wisconsin Electric Power Company (now known as WE Energies), which considered building a power plant at the site. That concept changed when in the 1970's an alternative site in south central Pleasant Prairie was selected for the power plant. In 1993, the company donated the area to The Nature Conservancy of Wisconsin who then turned it over to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The Dunes were then declared protected as a State Natural Area.
