Geocache Description:

This cache is located only a short distance up the hill from the ODOT Rock Shelter / Pacific Crest Trail head parking lot (N  43° 35.821' W 122° 1.883'). It's a quick grab and go or is it?

This cache is a remembrance to a former geocache that once occupied this stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail which was archived in 2011 and also shared the same name.

After you park, you can follow the Pacific Crest Trail for a short distance or navigate your own way up to it. 

You may want to stop by and pick up a USFS Day Parking Permit if you plan on hiking up to the Rosary Lakes region as the ODOT/Pacific Crest Trail Head does require a permit. However, you can also park at these coordinates for free: N 43 35.759' W 122 01.977'.

If you have time, I highly recommend taking the Pacific Crest Trail up to the Rosary Lakes Region. It's extremely beautiful and there are some great geocaches located there too.
