Hollybush Heights Traditional Geocache

CplSyx: I have now moved away from this area and am unable to maintain this cache.

Upon checking last week the location is now also considerably overgrown and access is difficult without fighting through brambles, as I discovered when removing the actual cigarette tube!

Thank you for all of the finds whilst this cache has been active.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in one of the undergrowth groups of this grassy area, and is a small cigarette tube. Not much space for trackables I'm afraid.

Crawley Green was historically owned by the Crawley Family, but is now a residential area. There are a now number of small parks in the region however this one is notable for being present in the series of 1940s aerial photographs taken after WW2.

The area has gone under much redevelopment since this photograph was taken and most of the fields are now streets and houses, but the small green on Hollybush Road still remains today.
