This used to be the entrance into the Faraday mine which was a major operation in the 50's & again in the late 70's, but closed for good in 1981; & has since been totally "rehabilitated". Which means there is no visible sign there was any mining activity at all. This was one of & the largest of 4 mines in the area. The others being ; Bicroft, Dyno, & Greyhawk. Do not travel further down this road as it is posted.
